Tabata training is a High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workout that lasts only four minutes. It may sound easy on the ear but these four minutes of intensive workout can be more beneficial than 60 minutes of regular workout. A typical structure of Tabata consists of 20 seconds of intense workout followed by 10 seconds of rest. Tabata training include squats, push-ups, burpees, mountain climbers, and other such exercises. Repeating this set 8 times burns more fat than running on the treadmill for an hour.
