HIIT

HIIT, or High Intensity Interval Training, is a cardiovascular training technique that includes alternating bursts of intense exercise followed by a shorter sprint of low-intensity recovery period. Although it has no fixed duration, an HIIT session typically lasts under 30 minutes depending on a participant’s fitness level. Besides increasing metabolism and burning fat, HIIT also contributes to cardiovascular health. Increasing the heart rate during bouts of intense exercise, it improves the cardiovascular ability and in turn strengthens the heart.
